Spiritual leadership is a leader that use spritual fulfillment dan selfless service to society as the nature of his leadership style in the business. In this perspective, wealth creation is no longer the goal, it becomes a means for enabling and sustaining this purpose. Business leaders promote the spiritual fulfillment of everyone touched by the business: Employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, and society. Likewise, business leaders develop selflessness in their service to society, seeing the Source in all whom they serve.
If a leader said this, it is mean that he is a spiritual leader:
Spirituality is very important to me as a person. I believe in God strongly. If ever there's a time for spiritual leadership, it's now. You must connect with a person's soul, at the deepest core. It can sometimes be lonely but you also feel happy and grounded inside. You also embrace your own humanness and imperfections and it keeps you humble as a leader and yet still strong.Political leader use his political power to influence people. Beside the political leader is a leader that have power to influence government decision by using his political negotiating.
The spiritual leader can have the political power if he can influence people and government by using his spiritual character.
The dominant in Gandhi’s leadership
The Gandhi’s personal competency is as lawyer. This competency influencing Gandhi’s leadership style. His personality which like the truth, nonviolence, vegetarianism, simplicity and faith and situational context which in that era the political conditions in India is really in chaos. This personal competency, personality and situational context influencing Gandhi’s leadership.
More suitable
Gandhi is more suitable as a political leader even he use spiritual principles in his leadership. With his charisma, Gandhi can influencing many political impact in India and world.
